The year 2015 marks the 80th anniversary of The Ghana Registered Midwives Association. The climax of the celebration will be in August, 2015. The launching of the 80th anniversary celebration will be on Thursday 20th November, 2014 at the forecourt of GRMA’s building at 10am.
The theme for the celebration is ‘’GRMA, 80 years for delivering and caring for Ghana’’
The Ghana Registered Midwives Association (GRMA) an affiliate member of The International Confederation of Midwives is a Professional Association and a nonprofit organization open to all Midwives registered with the Nurses and Midwives Council of Ghana. Read more »
Breast Care International (BCI), a breast cancer awareness NGO, has initiated a number of strategies to demystify breast cancer and encourage women to undertake regular self and clinical breast examination as well as seek early treatment.
Among them is the formation of Breast Cancer Survivors Association (BCSA), which seeks to bring together women, who have survived the disease, to serve as role models, tell their stories to encourage and motivate other women who have been diagnosed of the disease to continue with the treatment.
